3 Now I beg you, brethren, mark them which
cause divisions and offenses contrary to the
doctrine which you have learned; and avoid
them. For they that are such serve, not our
Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by
good words and fair speeches deceive the
hearts of the simple. 4 Such are false apostles,

deceitful workers, transforming themselves
into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel,
Satan himself is transformed into an

angel of light. It is then no great thing if his
ministers also be transformed as the ministers
of righteousness, whose end shall be

according to their works.

5 And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie: that
they all might be damned who believed not the
truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 6
Watch then, and always pray, that you may be
accounted worthy to escape all these things
that shall come to pass, and to stand before the

Son of man. 7 And because you have kept the
word of my patience, I will also keep you
