Bible
1 Then I said, I come (in the volume of the book
it is written of me) to do your will, O God. 2 I
delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law
is within my heart. 3 For he received from God
the Father honor and glory, when came such a
voice to him from the excellent glory: This is my
beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
We heard this voice from heaven when we
were with him in the holy mount. We also have
a more sure word of prophecy; and you do well
that you take heed, as unto a light that shines
in a dark place, until the day dawn and the day
star arises in your hearts.
Know this first; no prophecy of the scripture is
of any private interpretation. Prophecy came
not in old times by the will of man: but holy
men of God spoke as the Holy Spirit moved
them. 4 All scripture is given by inspiration of
God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
so that the man of God may be perfect,
thoroughly furnished for all good works.
