5 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my
words shall not pass away. 6 So, whoever hears
these sayings of mine, and does them, is like a
wise man, that built his house upon a rock: and
the rain descended, and the floods came, and
the winds blew, and
beat upon that

house; and it did
not fall: because it
was founded upon
a rock. 7 The word
of God is quick, and
powerful, sharper
than any two-edged
sword, and piercing
even to the dividing
asunder of soul and

spirit, and of the
joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of
the thoughts and
intents of the heart.

8 It is written, Man shall not live by bread
