          but  they  went  out,  that  they  might  be  made
          manifest that they were not at all of us.


          7 For a good tree does not bring forth corrupt
          fruit;  neither  does  a  corrupt  tree  bring  forth
          good  fruit.  For  every tree is known by  his
          own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs,

          nor do they of a bramble bush gather grapes. A
          good man out of the good treasure of his heart
          brings forth that which is good; and an evil man
          out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth
          that which is evil: for of the abundance of the
          heart his mouth speaks. And why call you me,
          Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?


          8  For  there  shall  arise  false  Christs,  and  false
          prophets,  showing  great  signs  and  wonders;
          insomuch  that,  if  possible,  they  shall  deceive
          the very elect. 9 So, do not have fellowship
          with  the  unfruitful  works  of  darkness,

          but rather expose and reprove them.
