the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses
us from all sin. If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
12 My son, keep my words, and store up
my commands within you. Keep my
commands, and live; keep my law as the
apple of your eye. Bind them upon your
fingers; write them upon the table of your
heart. Say to wisdom, You are my sister; and
call understanding your kinswoman: that they
may keep you from the seductress, and
from the stranger that flatters with her words.
13 How shall a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to God’s Word.
14 Flee youthful lusts: and follow
righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them
that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 15
You are of God, little children, and have
overcome them: because greater is he that
is in you, than he that is in the world. 16
