So don’t be partakers with them. For you were
sometimes darkness, but now you are light in
the Lord: walk as children of light: for the fruit
of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness
and truth; proving what is acceptable unto the
Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful
works of darkness, but rather reprove them; 8

for by means of a whorish woman a man is
brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress
will hunt for the precious life.

9 Do not cast away your confidence,

which has great compensation of
reward. For you have need of patience,
so that, after you have done the will of

God, you may receive the promise.

10 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there is any virtue,

and if there be any praise, think on these
things. 11 If we walk in the light, as he is in the
light, we have fellowship one with another, and
