the offspring of God, we ought not to think that
God is like gold, silver, or stone, graven by art
and man's device.

In times past, God closed his eyes to such
ignorance, but now commands everyone

everywhere to repent: because he has
appointed a day, in which he will judge the
world in righteousness by that man whom he
has ordained; and has given assurance unto all
men, in that he has raised him from the dead.

2 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith

without wavering; (for he is faithful that
promised); and let us consider provoking

one another to love and to good works:
and not forsaking the assembling of

ourselves together, as the manner of some
is; but encouraging one another: and so much
the more, as you see the day approaching.

3 All scripture is given by inspiration of God and
is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction,

and instruction in righteousness: that the man
of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
