good and upright; therefore, he will

teach sinners in the way.

9 So study to show yourselves approved
unto God, a workman that needs not to be

ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for
they will increase unto more ungodliness. 10

For you were sometimes darkness, but
now you are light in the Lord: walk as

children of light: for the fruit of the Spirit is
in all goodness and righteousness and truth;
proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11 For the law was given by Moses, but grace

and truth came by Jesus Christ. 12 You are born
again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives
and abides forever. The word of the Lord
endures forever. And this is the word by which
the gospel is preached unto you.
